Mmm. Icecream? No, Breakfast!

When in a morning rush, a smoothie is a great way to satisfy your cravings. Deliciously refreshing, packed full of vitamins and antioxidants, and filling, it is the ultimate in fast food.  Everyone at our office goes bonkers for this smoothie recipe.  It’s extra thick and creamy, so you might want to eat it with a spoon instead of a straw.  (In fact, we’re pretty sure a straw just won’t cut it.)

Sinfully Delectable Strawberry Smoothie
(It’s as pink, pretty, and yummy-smelling as our fragrances.)

1 cup frozen strawberries*
½ banana
1 cup vanilla yogurt**
¼ cup white sugar
2 tablespoons groundflax seed or bran***

Blend in food processor or blender until smooth.  Enjoy.


*You can find these bagged and in the frozen food section of your supermarket.  Go for the gold and get the best kind as your smoothie will only taste as good as your ingredients.
**We love Danone Active probiotic yogurt.  Once you try it, you’ll know why.
***Optional, it depends on how high on the health meter you’re shooting today.
